How she denied the importance of A Degree with her Experience!

But I was lacking in the practical nitigruities and thus I did a 12 weeks Digital Marketing internship with Digital Deepak and eventually landed from the world of Finance to the world of Creativity and Marketing. Her journey from a “0” to “1”
Today we are sharing a story of a mis-fit girl who challenged the prevailing education system and created her out a unique place in the world of Digital Marketing.
Well a girl who called her an introvert, had no formal degree in the field of Marketing in 2020, has created a remarkable position for herself in the extrovert dominated society of Marketing & Advertising, and is now the founder of a renowned Digital Marketing Agency in India, that is known for its creativity and result-oriented campaigns.
Being a CA (Inter) i.e almost wasting an entire life running towards a fancy finance job, with both guilt, and hope in her bag, She started her journey as a Social Media intern in a Bangalore based Digital Marketing agency in 2018. But guess what! maybe she was stuck by her bad-luck or may be her decisions were proving her wrong….anyway she jumped 3 companies in 2 years on the same position of “INTERN”, hoping to get a better break to LEARN, however, all her efforts to get into a good agency where she could actually get her hands in Digital Marketing, were going in vain.
Now there was no option to look back. She was already 27 with no financial stability and had realised the need for a formal degree to sustain and grow in the field that she has opted for herself. Soon she did a PG certification in Digital Marketing from MICA -through Upgrade, investing all her stipend paying the EMIs and hoping to get some learning and experience that will help her scale higher. But again destiny proved her wrong. Turned out, it was only MARKETING what the UPGRAD was good at, and not the course content.
Although she got the degree, but there was no practical experience that this expensive course gave her. And with a broken heart, she accepted her reality and continued her job as a Social Media Executive with no much avenues of learning and growth. Those were the days of disappointment, depression and self-doubt.
It was then in 2020’s covid era, when the entire world was hiding from the fear of pandemic, she got her ray of hope when she came across Digital Deepak’s internship program . Her destiny took a switch. She got all the technical knowledge and experience she was longing for in this course. She could actually practice and implement the techniques in the real world. And the bonus was…. she was actually getting paid for it!
Soon her knowledge helped her switch to a better role in a good digital marketing agency. Eventually, she grabbed some clients and started her freelancing too.
She was applying all the tools and techniques she learnt and worked on building her network. Her continuous efforts started giving results.
Now she is a confident woman enjoying her finical independence and moving fast for higher and higher success.
Within a period of just 5 years, she has become the owner of a leading digital marketing agency of India and is trying to help the young enthusiasts achieve the break she was denied. She has more than 100 people working with her, creating new ideas everyday and helping brands reach the maximum of their TGs. There’s hardly any brand which is not associated with her. In fact she is also helping small and local business reach the maximum customers.
Along with that, she owns India’s most loved travel blog where she shares her travel and food love with the world.
And is running an online painting store where in she is putting her creative side to a show.
Her journey truly depicts that its the experience you have that matters, not just a fancy Degree.
